I wonder tomorrow, will the fans leave?Trump added that if fans would "leave the stadium" when players kneel in protest during the national anthem, "I guarantee, things will stop."

1. Well, the ticket is already sold, so
I just don't think this will happen. And those tix are dang expensive. Why pay 100 for a seat and then just leave?

2. I wish they would spell out "SAVE ACA" with their bodies on the field instead.
Maybe then a few more people would give a shit.

3. Does Donnie thinks anything Trumps football for football fans?
He's going to find out "no". They're not going to abandon their religion for anything.

6. Good question. The fans who agree with trump are in a pickle
As pointed out above they already paid for tickets and parking. If they leave they won't be able to make it home until half time.
It would be wiser to sell your ticket, but then you run the risk of it being purchased by someone who either supports the protest or is not bothered by it. Another pickle for A trump fan: a kneeling player makes a great play for your team, tomorrow or anytime, do you cheer or jeer? Lastly for the Trump Chumps, will some of them abandon their teams and the NFL forever? |

9. They can leave their seats and allow the cameras to film it
As they walk up the aisle and supposedly out of the stadium.
I imagine we'll see plenty of shots like that tomorrow, especially on Fox. Then the fans can linger in the lounges or eventually return to their seats. That aspect won't be promoted. NFL stadiums these days are designed to enable fans to spend money in lounges or specialized restaurants. I have 4 spectators who sit next to me in Miami and are never seen again after late second quarter. They show up late in the first quarter, spend roughly one full quarter in their seats, and then depart for the lounges. Virtually no variance game to game or year to year. So keep that in mind tomorrow. A very small fraction of fans will leave but most of the ones who exit their seats in feigned protest will be putting on a show. |

11. Yeah Lambeau has some of that
Which is good cuz it's frickin cold
I agree with what you say, but I don't think the NFL will allow the networks to show fans leaving. Maybe the networks won't want to either for concern about ratings, If someone walks out during the NA they are actually showing their own disrespect. If someone walks out just after, it will be hard to tell as people are still finding their seats and it's usually a commercial break If they go hide somewhere else in the stadium they are just cowards which is the greater likelihood |

15. I was referring to Fox news programs later in the day
They'll probably have camera angles of fans walking up the aisles.
I didn't mean to suggest the Fox game coverage would highlight that aspect, although it's not inconceivable. |

10. Hell, no.
I couldn't care less about sports. But I know these people love their sports a lot more than the national anthem.
And I totally support everyone who sits or kneels to call out racism. |

13. Well, they could leave their seats and wander for a few minutes...
But with today's ticket prices, their butts will be definitely be back in the seats in the time it takes to buy (another) beer.
That'll show 'em! ![]() |
