' taking the knee'. Some thoughts

- taking the knee will be the new symbolic gesture for resistance against the Trump administration and will start showing up everywhere.

- out on the boards and blogs and in coffee shop the aurguments are bitter. Good people turned against each other by our president.

- if I were a coach at the team meeting I would open the discussion with this: ' there's no good way out of this one, there is no right answer'

1. The answer is to recraft the opening of NFL games

so that players are in the locker room during the anthem.

If I was running the business, that is what I would do.

Before Trump opened his mouth, I would have gone to the players and asked them what I could do to get them to stand for the anthem. Something positive like contributions to communities and funding a PAC that advocates for changes in the investigative and prosecution process for LEOs.

3. The answer is for the NFL ownership to come out against cops killing unarmed black people.

Support their players.

Lots of submissive republicans need to get off their frikken knees and stand up for America by standing up to the treason, vulgarity, deceit, and criminal trespasses of Comrade Casino, their ignoble republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief.
