The right never really says what form of protest would be acceptable. Let's face it, they don't want to hear about minorities' troubles AT ALL!

The objections for this are only that it makes people uncomfortable.

(18,045 posts)White folk love black entertainers and athletes when they are performing and accomplishing great feats...whenever they step outside those roles to protest, whites become uncomfortable and they revert to phrases like "ungrateful", as if these Americans had any obligations other than to only serve the monied White interests. I pray this movement continues to gain steam, in the hopes that we can reverse the plantation mentality!
