American Action Network and Congressional Leadership Fund reserved $6 million in ad time supporting GOP House candidates. Contribute now for our emergency rapid response fund.
Ellen,
We know that the Affordable Care Act did a lot to help working families all across the country, but we also know that the Republicans in the House will stop at nothing to try to repeal it. Thank you for helping us stand up last week and deliver a powerful message to House Republicans in the 48 hours after their vote to try to repeal health care that we weren't giving up.
Thanks to you, we are fighting back and will continue to keep the pressure on. We've been able to reserve over $16 million of airtime for crucial House races across the country.
But, Speaker Boehner just donated over $4 million to Republicans to help them to keep the majority and to use in what are sure to be anti-health care ads. We must be able to go toe-to-toe. Please consider another gift today if you can by Friday's end of week deadline.
Thanks for standing strong.

(2,593 posts)As a retired person on a fixed income, I am not able to give much and I find these constant reminders of the importance of $ in the political process very depressing and discouraging. My god, what a nightmare these greedy millionaires/billionaires have created for those of us who only want to contribute to the common good.
