Republican congress critters don't really care about deficits during a Dem administration, either. It's just the easiest "rationale" for them to trot in opposition of nearly ANY Democratic spending priorities (including priorities they were in favor of, before the Dems assumed the administration... as Obama found).

Exception: if it's another big increase in spending for the military, they're for it, regardless of the administration.

Repubs are not interested in governing... their goal is having power to make all the rules.
