I've been thinking this is the perfect slogan for the DNC. What do you think?

(3,847 posts)1. Unless we bring back regulation and taxing the 1% we are in big trouble
and will continue to deteriorate and a we will continue to fall into a 2nd world country.
Sorry, just my opinion.

(1,783 posts)2. Renewing the American Dream? That sounds too much like MAGA
One person's dream is another person's nightmare. There are no "good old days" or erstwhile "American dreams" worth renewing. There are far too many people in this nation that struggle with discrimination every day. Any slogan that the DNC chooses should emphasize hope, change and diversity with an eye towards a future that's devoid of any hint of nostalgia for the past.
We never want to renew yesterday's dreams. That's what the deplorables do. We need new dreams for a new American future, free of yesterday's nightmares.
