What the hell is this college transcript crap he was throwing out? As far as I've seen, no one has been asking for Mittens college transcripts. Too bad they didn't link the 15 year old tax returns with whether Mittens was still employed by Bain when Pawlenty kept asking what are 15 year old tax returns going to show.

The rethugs (the fringe media, really) have been demanding his transcripts forever. Of course, no presidential candidate or sitting president or probably the candidate for dogcatcher of East Bumfuck, Iowa has ever been asked to produce college transcripts! Pawlenty was attempting to make both requests equivalent. Kinda funny, actually.

12. It is a shot at the President

It is one of those Republican dog whistles about the President not releasing his college transcripts so they can see his grades, what ethnicity he claimed, and use it to show that he got preferential treatment based on ethnicity. I have heard the transcript issue brought up here and there during the tax release discussion but am surprised they haven't tried to throw it out there more often.
