I wish Mitt Romney would learn how to be an American.

Knowing how to do that ought to be a prerequisite for being President of the United States.

That means one has to pay all their taxes and not actively avoid paying them by hiding their money in other countries.

That means one has to make others, especially big corporations and the very wealthiest pay their taxes too - they should be required to their fair share.

That means keeping jobs, profits, etc. in the United States as much as possible and it means investing in and protecting its workers, elderly, students, poor, its natural environment and its voters and their voting rights at every opportunity.

That means being honest and transparent, and being a public servant, not self-serving.

Yep. I wish Mitt Romney would learn how to be an American.

He wants to be President. But first, he needs to start acting like an American.
