50 years later, disagreements over young Trump’s military academy record

From the moment 17-year-old Donald Trump was named a captain for his senior year at New York Military Academy, he ordered the officers under his command to keep strict discipline. Shoes had to be shined. Beds had to be made. Underclassmen had to spring to attention. Then, a month into Trump’s tenure in the fall of 1963, came an abrupt change.

The tall, confident senior with a shock of blond hair was removed from that coveted post atop A Company and transferred to a new job on the school staff — another prestigious assignment, but one with no command responsibilities. He moved out of the barracks and into the administration building, swapping jobs with a fellow high-ranking senior who took command of Trump’s old group....

In Trump’s telling, he was elevated as a reward for stellar performance. “I had total control over the cadets,” he said in a recent interview. “That’s why I got a promotion — because I did so good.”

Former cadets recall the change differently. They say school administrators transferred Trump after a freshman named Lee Ains complained of being hazed by a sergeant under Trump’s command. School officials, those cadets say, were concerned that Trump’s style of delegating leadership responsibilities while spending a lot of time in his room, away from his team, allowed problems to fester.

He'd have been tweeting from his room while problems in his command festered, just like today.

How can he be promoted out of the Oval Office?

and for those that have learned from their experiences, both positive and negative, more power to them - that's what we should all hope can happen.
As for Donny, history is showing us that he has a terrible past and he has not taken the opportunity to learn and better himself, in spite of so many opportunities to learn from his past experiences, both good and bad. This in itself can be a predictor of future performance.

CLIFF NOTES:

He WAS an ASSHOLE, he IS an ASSHOLE, and will ALWAYS be an ASSHOLE!

A top secret memo that there is a vast amount of gold being uncovered in the Artic, due to global warming. The first person there to stake a claim owns it. All of it for themselves. Then his advisor tells him that if he claims it while president, it belongs to the country, not him.

Or, "Chief Ultra-Executive Chairman of Everything",

or, quite simply,

"God"...

In that classic series, the protagonists encounter a planet populated entirely by marketing executives, sales assistants, telemarketers, etc...

As described below, the reason for this is quite brilliant:

On a planet called Golgafrincham, some citizens decided it was time to rid themselves of an entire useless third of their population. So they concocted a story that their planet would shortly be destroyed in a great catastrophe and planned an evacuation in three ships Golgafrincham “A”, “B” and “C” arks.

The passengers of the “A” ark were to be all the brilliant leaders, scientists, great musicians, data analysts, engineers and architects. The passengers of the “B” ark were to be all the “middle men” , marketing executives, telephone sanitizers , sales assistants and telemarketers etc. The passengers of the “C” ark were to be the real workers, construction, manufacturing and other craftsman.

The “B” ark was sent off first with instructions to go colonize a new planet, report back and then to wait for the other two. However, the “B” ark was programmed to crash-land on a suitably remote planet and of course the other Arks never followed. When a traveller comes across the remote planet bound “B” Ark crew, they inquire as to what the “B” Ark people are doing there. The response “we’re to colonize a new planet!”. The traveller states “What … with that lot?”

Now... isn't the demise of planet Earth imminent? Don't we need to construct a fleet of arks to evacuate the population? Shouldn't we send up first the ark containing the Trumpists (and Trump Himself), the Tea Partiers, the "deplorables", etc..., so they can get our new planet ready for the rest?

Hmmmpf?
