Have you noticed how often Mitt Romney's eyes look bloodshot??

I know it's not something most folks would pay attention to but I notice it just about every time he speaks to a crowd. Is he sort of like Raj, on the Big Bang show, that has to have a drink before he can talk to women? Does Mitt take a little sip out of the vodka bottle? Just curious?

Anybody else notice that?

Is he abusing caffeine or tobacco? He's going to get ex-communicated but they'll still take his tithe.

it might be that he's not sleeping very much because he knows he's going to lose and that this will be the end of his political career.

he could be tired, have allergies, wear contacts or maybe a little of his black hair dye made it to his eyes.

He has dry eyes, I doubt, seriously, that it is alcohol or drug induced.

doesn't believe the rules apply to him. There is an air of entitlement about him that I think extends even unto his religion. He believes he can purchase his salvation. That's just my own impression of him.

within his church, with tax returns, with financial disclosures needed when he's running for office, etc. I'm not familiar with the Mormon church and the moral code that it embraces. I'll have to do some research on that subject because I wonder if "following the rules" in the Mormon faith is more important than the state of one's "heart" (conscience) in relation to fellow human beings in and out of the Mormon church. So, I do believe that Mitt doesn't drink alcohol, tea or coffee because it's forbidden by the Church but I wonder how he reconciles his moral positions with that of his church......for example, how he earned his millions (legal, but moral?) and his desire to pay as little in taxes as possible (legal, but moral?).

I agree, he most certainly does have an air of entitlement about him. And he appears to be a man who can follow the "rules" of his church while he pockets millions and millions of dollars as he lays off/fires workers from companies Bain bought. Not only does he seem comfortable with making his millions in that way, he brags that he is proud of his success.

As for his church, there is no question in my mind that many transgressions are reconfigured after the generous gifting of tithes. Understand, though, that I tend to smell the rot of corruption throughout the institution of the universal church, so my judgment might be biased.
