OOPS! Mitt's 2010 Tax Returns NOT Fully Disclosed

WASHINGTON -- Mitt Romney has not released his full tax records from 2010, including key documentation connected to his Swiss bank account.

Although President Barack Obama and an increasing number of Republican politicians have called on Romney to release tax returns from years prior to 2010, the public criticism has so far failed to note that Romney has not disclosed all of his tax documents for 2010 itself -- the only year for which the GOP presidential nominee has presented any final tax forms.

Romney released his 2010 tax return in January of this year, a document that first informed voters about the existence of his Swiss bank account and financial activities in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. But people who own foreign bank accounts are required to file a separate document with the IRS that provides additional details on such overseas bank holdings, and Romney has not released that form to the public.

The Romney campaign did not respond to HuffPost's request to view the document.

Tax experts say it is almost certain that Romney did file the form, known as a Report on Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts, or "FBAR" in accountant slang. The penalty for not filing an FBAR can be severe, and the IRS would have expected to receive the form since Romney listed the Swiss bank account on his tax return. Listing the account on his tax return and then failing to file the subsequent FBAR would have been asking for a hefty fine, and would probably have heightened IRS scrutiny of prior tax filings.

He's making the point that Swiss banks don't pay interest on Romney's type of account and thus there must be other things to be gained in hiding money in a Swiss bank. But what?

They will no longer be able to be deluded and controlled by the "they only hate us because we're rich and they want us to give money to Welfare Queens!" excuse. This stuff is going to stick on the Republicans.

No wonder it seems that the republicans, for the first time, are NOT uniting behind him. I think that they're saying in backrooms "well, if we're going to dump him, we'd better get it done quick, so we have time to run someone else"

There are at least the 1st rumors that Mitt would rather drop out of the race rather than reveal his tax returns. Someone posted a thread that he could drop out by weeks and and they were ridiculed on here, they may be right.

It's the Republicans that are leading the charge about his returns too. They want a chance to replace him.

His ego will keep him convinced of his own invulnerability.

If he goes, it will be because the rest of the Republican vermin hook him off the stage.

If he goes under these conditions, he will be allowed some sort of fig leaf, of course, but if he falls, it will be Republican chainsaws that did it.

He's nothing but a lying sack of shit. What else is he hiding? I saw a clip of, I believe, Andrea Saul, and she had a real Moonie cult-like glaze/gaze to her eyes. It was spooky. Her whole schtick was that Romney "released over 500 pages of taxes" as if that was supposed to suffice and us "little people" should be satisfied because, after all, we are too stupid and unsophisticated to understand anything anyway. Just pat us on the head and move along.

Arrgh.
