Clearly the uber-wealthy are less concerned about their money than the power it gives them

Once you get billions then it becomes more about how much power you have over people and the world. It's not like your quality of life changes so why want more after you do have billions? The only answer is "Power". Power is addictive to a lot of people and once you have it you get use to it and want more. These kinds of people feel like if they are stagnant they are going backward so they feel they need to make more money and gain more power and become more detached from the middle class because they think they are better than everyone else. Their goal is really to dismantle anyone who could bring down their power and that means chopping the legs off the middle class or anyone who thinks or speaks out. As George Carlin once put it "They want obedient workers" and they want education to fail. It's a fucking disease! A list of all people with this megalomania, narcissistic, mental disorder needs to be put together so they can be pressured to get some psychological help and stop fucking up the world!

Koch bros want open season on fracking, drilling, and mountaintop removal. Oh, and destruction of unions and collective bargaining rights.

Adelson wants open season and deregulation on casinos, not to mention protection from his legal problems.

Although the amounts these robber barons are giving to PACs is staggering, the potential profits are vastly larger. Theyre in it for the money... whatever principles get them more money are the principles theyll hold dear.
