History repeats itself, first as tragedy then as farce

As humans :
- we share the same biology
- we have the same basic needs
- whatever area we live in, whatever culture or beliefs are ours, whatever language, we more or less, react the same way to happiness and unhappiness.

What is it about this that is so hard to understand?

Yes, and old trick...

it not acceptable. Scapegoating a group of people is a convenient political tactic to rally the masses.

But as History has proven it over and over again, it is a losing game.

Who will the next after got rid of the scapegoat ? Do the "one-think-fits-all" have think of that ?

Just give them a mirror, they'll have a glaring answer...and still none of their real problems have been solved by those who promised to do it by 2 shakes of a lamb's tail...

We really need to improve education and give an access to everyone. And for God's sake, to really teach people to have a critical sens and use it almost as a reflex.

...gave you my opinion on another thread

Is it possible to open a thread specially dedicated to ?

I will do my best to develop and participate? I prefer not to open it myself, since I will use too short and too simple sentences which will not reflect the depth of the subject.

Football? That's another thing that Trump is good at - making a molehill into a mountain. This has become front page news and part of the national conversation - and people are taking sides. And, as usual, Trump is on the wrong side of things and is making the whole thing much uglier and controversial than it would be otherwise. His lack of understanding of basic issues distorts everything - and it's yet another distraction when important issues are on the table. He doesn't think or understand things like other people do which is yet another undesirable characteristic in a president.
