Clinton: 'I'm not going to run again'

Hillary Clinton in a new interview said she does not plan to run for president again but will continue her criticism of President Trump.

"No, I'm not going to run again," she told BBC Radio 4's "Woman's Hour" in comments aired on Tuesday, according to CNBC.

"I think I'm in a position where my voice will actually be magnified because I am not running," she said. "And there's a very good basis, as we watch Trump's support shrink, that people will say, 'Well, what she said was right, and now where do we go from here?'"

Her comments were aired after Trump tweeted on Monday that he wished Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, would run again.

She's done enough. She deserves the time away from the campaign trail and all the crap that entails.

One of the reasons she wrote her book was to encourage people to do more to stop the ongoing Russian propaganda that is rampant and dangerous. The fucking moron's refusal to enforce the Russian Sanctions bill he already signed (GOP Congress basically gave him no choice) is proof that nothing will be done until Dems and the American citizens demand it.

I am glad she is not running again. I do like hearing her voice out there so much, without having to hold back. I think it is very powerful. I think she has a lot to do yet.

... but you beat me to it. Hillary deserves private time with her family and grandchildren.

When she's ready to take on her next project I hope she goes on the lecture circuit or maybe takes a teaching post (like an adjunct professor) at a good university. She deserves respect and leisure now, and time to write more books.

Welcome to DU, Mediumsizedhand! Enjoy your stay here.

is correct. Her voice will be and has already been magnified, her warnings proven correct. Remember the line: there is no 'other' Donald Trump, what you see is what you get? Though the press has longed for the . . . PIVOT, the moment the Trumpster would become 'presidential,' even they have concluded that that moment is never going to happen. There have been brief hopes but they've all fizzled, one after the other, because the man is an ignoramus, a malignant narcissist.

So yes, Hillary Clinton has plenty of energy left to do good from the outside. As for her voice? I will always listen.
