George Zimmerman apologizes in interview with Sean Hannity

Asked Wednesday night if he'd do anything differently the night he came face-to-face with Trayvon Martin and fatally shot the 17-year-old, Neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman told a national television audience, no.

"I feel like it was all God's plans," he told Sean Hannity on Fox News in his first television interview since the shooting.

Zimmerman apologized again to Trayvon's parents, calling the shooting a tragedy.

"I would tell them that again I'm sorry. I don't have, my wife and I don't have any children. … I am sorry that they buried their child. I can't imagine what it must feel like, and I pray for them daily," he said.

material for the prosecutors. They'll definitely be looking at the tape for gems to use.

That interview was outrageous. If i was the judge, I'd be livid about it. Hannity did most of the "testifying", but Zimmerman more than hung himself here.

Zimmy doesn't know it yet but his lawyer wants to plead him. The purpose of the interview was to raise money. Lawyer's going to be paid. As a former criminal defense attorney, I can't imagine letting a murder defendant run his mouth publicly about the case. Unless I knew I was going to plead him. What he said in that interview can be used to impeach his testimony at trial if he says anything different.

to why his lawyer yanked up that money and put it in a "trust".He wanted to make sure he got paid.

Do you think his lawyer sees this as a tough one to win? Just wondering how it looks through the eyes of a criminal defense lawyer.

I want an explanation of why this poor man was forced to go on right-wing hate TV to pretend to his false god that he was sorry.

And there is no fucking thing as a "neighborhood watch volunteer"--he's a lone nut vigilante, a murderous one.

I don't believe for a fucking second Trayvon ever said that when he didn't have the gun. A pot smoking, mellow kid who had never been in a fight before? My gut feeling tells me Zimmerman got the gun and said "Your going to die you son of a bitch" thinking Martin was trash.

Zimmerman is such a lying piece of shit! Every time he lied you could see him blink funny.

Not a 17-year-old who still lives with family and is not on his own. No way he would have the confidence to say that. Think back on when you were 17. A 17-year-old is still a child in many ways. Even the hardest kids are still children at that age. This is not believable.

might have made him think the story would ring true to the cops. Then we find out Trayvon came from a loving middle class family in the neighborhood and the whole lie fell to pieces, at least to rational people. I really, really, really hate this fucking piece of shit Zimmerman and how he would trash a kids reputation to cover his fucking lame ass.

Zimmerman confronted Martin, and a fight occurred. Zimmerman started to lose and because he is an angry, short fused, son of a bitch shot without a second thought. A good kid is dead and a family torn to bits because he is an idiot.

Also, look at Trayvon's friends and brother. ALL NERDS! This was no gangster kid, he was probably pretty peaceful and mellow just scared to death and fighting for his life.
