Batman Movie: Some See a Bane-Bain Link.

With Mitt Romney getting harsh criticism from many sides about his tenure at the helm of Bain Capital and his unwillingness to release more than two years of tax returns, he may want to escape to the movies this weekend.

But maybe not the latest Batman film.

In “The Dark Knight Rises,” directed by Christopher Nolan and opening on Friday, plays on themes political partisans have been emphasizing recently: greed, corruption, and an epic battle that will define the future. The bad guy, Bane, played by Tom Hardy, battles Batman, played by Christian Bale.

Some Democrats and others are drawing a Bain-Bane link.
