I know it's spelled differently, but still why would choose to name your company Bain, it sounds like Bane. You know what I thought of when I first heard the company's name long before Obama's campaign began the ads? I thought of the Balrog "Durin's Bane" from Lord of the Rings, I thought of Darth Bane from Star Wars, I thought of Bane from Batman. What do all three of those things have in common? (Aside from showing off what a nerd I am) they all caused lots of destruction in their universes. Seriously, Romney your naming sucks. It really makes me question his intelligence, if he can't choose a better name. Though, it does fit the destruction Bain Capital has left in its wake. Freudian slip on part, perhaps?
