President Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, and a deputy campaign official, Rick Gates, have been indicted on 12 counts of charges, according to a spokesman for Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The charges include "conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts," the spokesman said.

The indictment was unsealed Monday after Manafort and Gates surrendered to the FBI. Read it in full here.
The charges are the first in Mueller's investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

And, Manafort is not done. He might still have additional charges on these two, and I have little doubt they will be the only ones indicted.

I would think that there would be comparable charges relating to FARA against Kushner and Flynn Sr.

he is now a very ripe tomato, ready to be squeezed.

Just for starters, Mueller can now force him to tell what happened before, during, and after the Trump Tower meeting with Putin's agents in June 2016.

considering how many things related to money, foreign banks, foreign payments, etc. he left off his security clearance forms.
