Will our military leaders attack North Korea if Trump gives the order?

Could they refuse on the grounds of it being not only being illegal, but insane? Could they resign so they would not have to give that order? I know these are crazy questions but we are in a crazy situation. Trump is crazy.

I think there's psychological work-ups done on people in that position to assure they follow orders. PearliePoo2 Nov 2017 #5

who said he would. Of course if he said, "I'd tell them to get stuffed!", he'd have been replaced already. I suspect there's a cut-out in place. But they can't advertise that.

The military will follow the President's orders. This shouldn't even be a question. Civilian control of the military is absolute and should be absolute. We do not want to live in a country where the military does its own thing whenever they disagree with the the President or other civilian leadership, even if it seems like a good idea now.

I also heard, but can't confirm, that they all carry service revolvers. If someone refuses to turn the key, they can be shot. Is this true or not?
