The russian lawyer is saying that when the meeting ended, Trump jr told her that if they (Trump) come to power they will see what they can do about the magnitsky act. Basically a flagrant case of collusion.
She is ready to testify to congress and Mueller under oath.

The more chaotic the US Government is, the less it can focus on matters abroad. Particularly when Russia is advancing its agenda.

Getting a US president impeached would be further success in his goal to spread chaos. Maybe he realized Trump is too unreliable or dumb to manipulate and he has decided to cash his chips.
