it sounds like this is related to the recent health care ruling. We need to show that this is the type of person that does not support universal coverage. That story has legs.

on early this a.m. before the shooter profile was available. He repeatedly talked about shooters who were motivated by radical groups and repeatedly mentioned anarchists specifically, carefully not mentioning any RW aligned groups who could provoke such a shooting.

A bit early for this sort of thing, don't you think? They have a suspect in custody. He is undoubtedly the guilty person. The cops have zero reason to disclose anything at this point and every reason to not disclose. The DA is building a case. A jury will be convened from among the community at some point in the future. Every piece of information they release potentially prejudices the case. This is standard LE practice.

after watching the media handle the Zimmerman/Martin shooting, they decided to be responsible and not release information that will make the case harder to prosecute and contribute to the media feeding frenzy.

Crime scenes to investigate, people to interview, and all of the million of other things big or small that are part of a big breaking case like this and you're pissed because that haven't sated your need to glom onto this case so now your paranoia is kicking in.

Turn off the TV, intertubes and radio, go out, take a deep breath, enjoy the weather, pet a puppy. You're becoming far too involved in this.

Perhaps they're keeping quet because they want to protect the case. Too much pretrial publicity can taint a jury.
