Have you ever groped, grabbed, kissed / etc without permission? Your action.Last edited Mon Nov 20, 2017, 09:39 PM - Edit history (2)
I'm not asking about rape, but "just" inappropriate, unwanted acts, aka assault or harassment that you may have done.
I groped a few times as a young, and ignorant, adult, under "joking around". Now I wonder how this affected the recipients and feel bad about doing so. As it happened more to me, I stopped and never did again. I hope the acceptability of "just joking around" changes, that everyone will see how widespread this is and help make it unacceptable.

1. I would think all women who have ever frequented bars would say yes.
I, too, had a wayward youth in a college town.

6. I think the first one is being read wrong.
I believe it is asking a woman if she has been the perp.

8. What you are. There's no distinction between those groped

3. No. I'm shy, but I think everyone should get a clean slate regarding the innocent/joking
type of groping. NOT Trump style sexual assault and groping. Otherwise, a lot of generally good people will be under the bus by next year.

4. Yes in 6th grade
Large school walking to the buses after classes my friend and I had our asses pinched quite hard by 2 high school girls, probably 16 or 17.
I was 11 about to turn 12 that summer. My friend loved it. In his hormone addled mind he thought these high school girls were into him/us, two sixth grade boys. It was probably one of the greatest days of his life up to that point. But I was a late bloomer and hadn’t quite hit puberty yet and was completely weirded out. |

10. The question is asking if you have been a perpetrator
(But i read it the way you did first, as well - as did at least the first person to respond.)

9. I just can't grasp how it
Would be pleasurable to either party unless it's consensual. Plus I was raised to keep my damn hands off others and what's not mine.

11. For some reason, your question is being misread.
I can't identify why, because it is clear i fyou parse it out. But my first response was, "yes, thinking you were asking about having been groped - and it appears at least 2 others who have commented in this thread may also have been confused.

13. I can't even imagine myself doing anything
unwanted, unasked for or without common consent. It's not part of my brain function.
If it makes any difference to anyone, I was never abused as a child or forced into an unwanted sexual encounter as an adult. So maybe my lack of being abused had something to do with my views. I've had plenty of sexual experience all consentual, I've had children, married, divorced, remarried, no religion here so you can't say Jesus protected me or anything. On the other hand I have known plenty of people who have been put through hell with physical abuse, emotional abuse and sexual abuse. |

14. Way too shy for that
in my more sexist years. For the last thirty to forty years, I've always waited for the woman to make the first move.

15. Full female confession here-
In the 3rd grade my desk was next to a boy I liked. He dropped his pencil on the floor and when he reached down to pick it up I kissed the top of his head, on his hair. I am pretty sure he didn't even know it.
That's it. |
