GOP Silence

We don't seem to be hearing too much from the GOP, conservatives, and the NRA. My bet is that they are conniving with Luntz so they can blame the tragedy on Obama, the Democrats, gays, secularists, labor, the poor, the unemployed, the disabled, etc or all of the above by Monday.

Nothing will change. They will just double down, triple down or quadruple down on the hatred, bigotry, fear, intimidation etc. I cannot wait until the week end is over. And even if this shooter was NOT connected to any political cause the GOP will find one.

The fact that one Congressman has already theoretically called it an attack on Christianity tells you where Romney, the GOP and their allies will go with this tragedy. Perhaps I am too cynical.

And the NRA will be out in force demanding conceal and carry, open carry or what other idiocy they demand. Maybe they will want a grenade launcher in every home next.
