"He" is the subject of the (implied) verb "does." So yes, "him" is wrong.

If you just say "better than he does" you sidestep the whole issue

I have read that. Some grammarian say both are correct.

I do prefer "than he does".

Great, I have learned something. Thank you again

also "jealous" would apply to having ill feelings towards someone out of sexual or romantic personal conflicts. I think the word you are looking for is "envious".

But a great meme regardless!

Normally, you use the structure pronoun + verb after "than" such as you are better than he is. I'm cringing a little bit that I posted what I did..old habits die hard. My days as an English major are long behind me.

Don't let your old habits die.

As non native English speaker, it helps me a lot.

I have not seen what was grammatically wrong.

French and English sentences structures differs. I try as much as I can to think in English before writting but it is not enough.

Please feel free to correct me anytime, you will do me a great favour by helping to improve my English.

I appreciate very much DU. The least I can do, is not to punch too hard your language.

Universities don't put up with it. Why it is allowed to exist in government, which should represent everybody?
