Peter Thiel (FB board member) funds James OKeefe & Project Veritas lies to undermine institutions

But who would fund James O’Keefe & Project Veritas’ attempts at telling lies to undermine institutions? Well, it's folks like Facebook board member Peter Thiel! He's funded creation of fake news for a decade.

Conservative Facebook Investor Funded Anti-ACORN Videographer

James O’Keefe, the activist filmmaker who achieved sudden fame for a series of undercover videos recording ACORN workers, has repeatedly said that he is “absolutely independent” and received no outside funding to make his films.

But the Voice has learned that O’Keefe, in fact, has had heavyweight conservative backers who funded the young filmmaker as recently as a few months before his ACORN films were made.

The ACORN videos are actually just the latest of several films O’Keefe has produced and uploaded to YouTube. An earlier film posted in February, “Taxpayers Clearing House” featured nonwhite, working class people being duped by O’Keefe, who led them to believe they had won money in a sweepstakes.

That video was produced with the help of a grant — said to be about $30,000 [Thiel’s spokesman says closer to $10,000 — see update] — from Peter Thiel, one of the founders of PayPal and an early investor in Facebook — an investment which made him a billionaire. Thiel is one of Silicon Valley’s more interesting figures: a gay man (according to Gawker’s “Valleywag”) who has railed against the evils of “multiculturalism.” He lives in San Francisco and today runs a hedge fund.

This article isn't new, but isn't it odd that Peter Thiel's name (and facebook) keeps coming up?

As Mueller works his way through all the Money Sources dealing with Trump and his Merry Band of Thieves. Peter Theil's name will surface especially dealing with stolen E-Mails as well as targeting of Mercer run Analytical group.

This Guy will have his day of reckoning.

They have an ugly personality trait where they believe they can create their own reality.

With enough money, they believe they can reshape the truth to fit their beliefs. Or perhaps more accurately, they believe their beliefs must be correct so they twist reality to make it seem so.

Sadly, they are often proven to be right because it works far too often for my comfort.

One of those scary so-called "libertarian" billionaires who are behind a lot of what's happening in congress and elsewhere in our government.

NYMag has an article about him and his politics. Strip the extra verbiage away, and he's a white supremacist who wants to replace our government with an authoritarian form (so that also means white male supremacy) that consolidates his wealth and power. He believes democracy and capitalism are "incompatible," and just guess which one he considers the problem to be done away with.
