ATTOM Data Solutions identified the following 10 states as having the highest effective property tax rates in 2016:
New Jersey: 2.31 percent.
Illinois: 2.13 percent.
Texas: 2.06 percent.
New Hampshire: 2.03 percent.
Vermont: 2.02 percent.
Connecticut: 2 percent.
Pennsylvania: 1.89 percent.
New York: 1.88 percent.

It's all on local.

I'm sure Cruz has figured the impact on his position on the tax bill - and understands property tax deduction will not be in the final passage, as it is not now in the House version.

Since this is now a tax cut package and not a tax reform package, the R's have a lot of wiggle room.

I live in a state with incredibly low property taxes - and pay 10% sales tax on every item I purchase in the city except motor oil.

“Senator why aren’t you with president trump when it comes to helping the middle class?” was the question from a Fox News zombie voter.

It should be an easy answer.
