they only have a few votes to spare on the senate side so it can't depart from it by much.
everyone knows the house will pass just about anything the senate agrees to so they don't have much leverage.
if negotiations fail the house will just pass the senate version as is.

I think we will see some more changes. For example, it is stupid to make the corporate tax cuts "permanent," while ending personal tax "cuts" -- if you call them that -- within ten years or so. Truthfully, "permanent" doesn't mean permanent because either can be changed at anytime with the right Congress and President.
