Let's look at this by asking 3 simple questions:

3. Is Mueller better at prosecuting than Trump staying out of trouble?

Trump has declared bankruptcy a number of times.
Trump has refused to pay people who worked for him, a number of times.
Trump lies and brags about what he wants and gets..no matter what.
Trump gets in trouble and buys his way out, or gets a lawyer to "take care of it"

Yes, Mueller is good at prosecuting, criminal issues, and he has some of the best help available. That has been his life's work..

Trump is already in criminal trouble, but he can't buy his way out of this. He cannot lie his way out of this.
.....this is not the kind of trouble that one can buy their way out of.
Also, Mueller is taking his time to get absolute proof that Trump has committed criminal behavior..And his crowd has committed criminal behavior. (you may define his crowd)
Mueller will get enough proof to indict the crowd, and implicate Trump as a law breaker even if he cannot be charged. (maybe he will be charged??)

Why? Mueller is much better at what he does, than Trump is at staying out of "criminal trouble" Trump doesn't even know what that is, and Mueller certainly does, since that has been his life's work.
Mueller is motivated too, and this is mighty big. Trump's lies are mighty big. Nevertheless, Mueller is going to find the truth, even if Trump is going to lie.. Trump may have implicated himself in a tweet yesterday. I do not know, but Mueller does. Trump is up against someone who will get him. Trump may fire Mueller, but that will not end it. I believe Trump will go down. far down. Yes, it will take some time, but the proof, when everyone sees it, will be iron clad and non refutable. Trump is up against far more than he can imagine. As is his crowd. And we will see, and the proof will be clear to everyone.

5. That's the reason Mueller can't merely be superior to Trump

He needs to be almost superhuman, many multiples of Trump, and uncovering videos that probably don't exist. I don't see the GOP congress doing anything without concrete video and audio evidence. And even that might not be enough.

6. The GOP congress only cares about itself, and nothing else.

Most members are various copies of Trump. More respectful, and quieter, but deep down, copies of Trump. Fully self centered and focused on "Me" "MY MONEY" and "MY INTERESTS" .. Beneath their exterior is one simple message,

......."Fu*k Your Interests, too bad if we hurt you. We don't care about you"

Yes, it will be very tough, but Mueller and his team will expose the crime completely. All aspects will be shown and the solution will be simple. Get rid of Trump. I think that is the reason this is taking so long. The Mueller Team is not only accumulating evidence, but it is clarifying the evidence and trying to make that understandable to all.

Why go to the trouble?...That evidence will implicate Trump and his crowd for committing "treason." If you are charging a group with that, why you are doing so, must be understood by the nation. Yes, Trumps followers will not agree with the findings, but their numbers are slowly getting smaller. The rest of the nation will agree, and the result will be: "Good by Trump and Your Crowd"
