It matters!
It matters that Trump wants to rule the world. It matters that Trump wants to tax everyone except the rich. It matters that Trump supports a pedophile who may win the senate seat in Alabama. It matters that Trump lies to the American people every time he opens his mouth. It matters that Trump insults everyone around him, even those who show loyalty to him. But, it doesn't matter to the GOP, because they want their agenda passed, no matter the outcome for the American people. They claim that they are doing what is right for America? Well, between them and Trump, they have torn this country apart in only one year's time. They allowed Trump to stampede his way into the White House and now they can't(won't) stop him from doing any that he wants! When they do finally stand up to him, the damage will be done and it will take decades to recover. That is why it matters
