I think Ron Paul can win the Presidency

of Nigeria. I don't know what most Nigerians think of The Federal Reserve System, Gold Standard or the works of Ludwig von Mises, but they are with him on this:

Same-sex sexual activity is punishable by death by stoning in the 12 states that have adopted Shari'a law, and by up to 14 years imprisonment throughout Nigeria. There is no legal protection against discrimination. Very few gays are out, and violence against LGBT people is frequent. Legislation is pending to criminalize same-sex marriage throughout Nigeria.

I'm starting to think he is the Republican candidate you fear the most.

Your actually afraid of him, aren't you? You realize that he is the one Republican that can actually take votes away from President Obama.

1. He is a/the front runner right now in Iowa.

2. His economic policies would make the Gilded Age look like a church picnic

3. Youre correct, some of the social stuff and foreign policy appeals to a sizable percentage of democrats.

Once the left wingers see the other things he stands for - and that is the information we would spread on a message board - he'll lose that initial impulsive support.

You are right that the left does have many impulsive people who will react on hearing just one thing. But that does not mean you can manipulate them forever.

and totally tie the GOP into KNOTS!!!

And then, after Romney wins NH, and either Gingrich or (please God!!) Santorum wins SC ... we go to Virgina ... where ONLY Romney and Paul are on the ballot!!!!

And the implosion of the GOP continues into maybe March or April ... with endless debates and idiotic statements from the bunch of them week after hilarious week ...

OH ... and the best part would be if Paul runs as an independent (he won't. but I can hope) ... the GOP splits some more.

No sane Democrat is voting for Ron Paul ... unless they are very, very high.

What gets me is seeing every thread about Ron Paul started by well known President Obama defenders who then complain about all of the trolls posting about Ron Paul. It isn't trolls doing the posting, it is them! Isn't there anything else to discuss?

I really think they are afraid of him.

Because I know one thing: I will NEVER again vote for Obama. NEVER! I simply do not agree with his aggressive military adventures one iota. I voted for him last time with extreme trepedidation; I was disgusted by his pledge to increase troop strength in Afghan. but I thought perhaps he was lying to appeal to swing voting maniacs who love to blow things up real good. Nope. He meant what he said. For the first time in history, a politician told the truth.

Ron Paul's non-interventionalism appeals to me greatly. I think if we could stop these wars (and yes, there is still more than one conflict going on right now, despite what we are told by our minders), plus close all those military bases, it would be enough to allow the states to remain solvent. Everything has been bled dry--local and federal. I blame the wars.

However, I am not a libertarian in the least. The only reason Paul doesn't scare me is that his power is as commander in chief and not as a legislator. So I don't fear him removing Social Security and Medicare. Those are programs I would never touch with a ten-foot pole.

And Ron Paul certainly is NOT "the one Republican that can actually take votes away from Obama." Any of them will take somebody's vote away from Obama. The question is who will do it the most in a cumulative sense. That is the one I'm afraid of. I'm not sure who that is but I'm damn sure it ain't Ron "let's execute the queers" Paul.

You realize that the only votes that he can take away from President Obama are votes from ignorant assholes who somehow think that voting for this racist piece of shit will teach the rest of "us" and President Obama a lesson?

or dating outside their race - then the federal government would be trampling lady liberty herself to stand it its way. and this drug war stuff that they think will win over some liberals, well guess what? the libertarian/ron paul position is to get rid of the federal drug laws but leave it up to the states. fine and dandy in califorinia i suppose, but wouldn't affect texas one bit. you'd still go to jail if caught with enough weed or any amount of other illicit drugs. wouldn't change things one fucking bit. they are state's righters, no more, no less.
