I called as many as I could that were on "the list" of infamy - at all of their offices. Almost everyone was polite and interested. Some were surprised to be getting so many calls to stand behind Franken and assuring me they would tally and report the comments.
The Gillibrand and Harris staffers were not as open or pleasant. They got a little curt and said they didn't want to hear what I had to say, once they learned I was opposed to what their bosses were trying to do.
They said they only had time to talk to their constituents. So I said fine, tell your bosses to keep their noses out of the business of Franken's constituents in MN.
Closed by saying, since they aren't interested in my opinion on their mob action today, don't bother pestering me for support when they run for President in 2020. I won't be with either one of them.
Support of due process and aversion to mob actions are, un-apologetically, litmus tests for me.
