COWARDS, that they will not let the ethics investigation proceed first

Altho I removed the hypocrisy language. I decided to leave the names just as they are, for people to feel about it as they wish, w/o opinion from me.

But I will remember the names. This was a railroading, when these people have not called for the resignation of the molester in chief. Cowards.

Personally, I think jealousy plays a part. He became the most popular Senator in the nation. His name was bandied about as a possible Presidential candidate, altho he repeatedly stated he would not run, that he's a Senator from Minnesota. So the ones who have been trying to get a national name, a national voice, and seen as possible Presidential contenders (and their supporters), have gotten rid of the man contender in their way? Whether they intended that or not, that's what they've done.

probability that a Norm Coleman can win back that seat.

The Governor is going to appoint his Lt. Governor who has made it clear she has no desire to serve out Al Franken's term, and that means a special election

I was hoping to be able to vote for him for President in 2020.

I will not vote for any Democratic presidential candidate that participated in the railroading of Al Franken. Period.

this will save them?

No. This is a hit job originally organized by Roger Stone. Don't they get it?

"I’m disappointed with my friend Leeann Tweedon [sic]," he said. "Her partner at KABC John Phillips is a Roger Stone pal & they coached her for weeks to bring Al Franken down. I’d hoped she’d use her voice to speak out for all women again predators like Roy Moore & Donald Trump but she’s a birther."

John Phillips is a CNN political commentator and right-leaning radio talk show host at the same station, KABC, as Tweeden.

Phillips denied that he was involved with Tweeden's decision to come out public with her accusations in November.

"Hey Arnie, first of all your friend’s name is spelled 'Leeann Tweeden,'" he replied to Arnold. "Second, we never talked about it before she went public. Third, I think ur a great comic and were fantastic on #Roseanne, but @therealroseanne was the genius on that show."

... after all, if there isn't going to be any due process; if there isn't going to be any consideration of appropriate punishment or censure; if there really is going to be Zero Tolerance; if we are just going to have senatorial mob rule -- well, then it is just a matter of time before anonymous accusers go after every man in the Senate.

But for now, if Franken is forced to resign, at least Sen. Gillibrand will be satisfied and the Trumpians will get to chortle over Senate Democrats self-immolating.

I don't understand why a vote of censure by the Senate Democratic caucus isn't appropriate for Franken since these incidents all happened (as I understand it) before he was in the Senate.
