may watch it here.
This essay is full of facts which gun advocates should
realize demand more control than is presently available. I am only
posting and not going to do any replying. I feel very strongly about this
subject and am sickened by the death and injury that come from guns and
those who use them. I grew up around guns (Father an FBI agent) and brother
avid hunter so I know guns in responsible hands can be tolerated. How do we
mesh these two sides?

(14,656 posts)Had they done that I would have taken a lot of flack...well, sadly, I think you are correct.
I would be happier if TPTB would out law 30, 60 and 100 mag guns....we do not need these
lawnmower weapons on the open market.
What I see may happen, 2 things: 1) guarding of doors...especially back doors to theaters (won't Homeland security be happy about that ($$$)....thus increased revenues to private security device and management concerns and 2) A TSA like shake down to enter any and all public places.

So where WERE the employees?
I'm willing to bet they were TEXTING through the alarm sounding.
Anyone else want phone records of those who were SUPPOSED to be on guard
at the time of the rampage?
