(6,290 posts)I do think she could be an effective candidate.
I also disagree with what she's done to Franken and think it's been bad for the party. I don't find it automatically disqualifying, though.

I will vote for the democrat that wins the nom but I sure hope it ain't her!

(58,785 posts)shows that. Yes, there are plenty of conservatives in the Democratic Party, and I'm not saying she doesn't belong here, any more than I'd say leftwring radicals who register Democrat don't, it's their choice.
I am saying that there's no chance real liberals who share my values and goals won't be running, so no chance I wouldn't vote for one of them.

(12,099 posts)Very sorry to see what happened to Franken.
flamingdem
(39,755 posts)in regards to Franken. From her viewpoint perhaps it looked rational to fire one of our best talents because he attempted to kiss someone and grabbed someone's waist.
This kind of thinking isn't good enough to win the presidency. I believe we'd lose with her and she's not a strong candidate. Too bad Schumer thought so.

(64,308 posts)He very innocently fell into a puke trap. There was a photo of him that one of the trumpsters had. I believe they cooked up this whole plot. I would welcome an investigation so that more truth will come out and Al will be absolved. Already I am seeing plenty of evidence that this was a put up deal with the pukes to have a "whatabout" stick to beat us with. Gillibrand just took away that stick.

(4,492 posts)I've never seen people turn against one of their own the way they have with her.
I guess people here would cheer Trump bringing her head on a stick.

I'm sure Trump the pussy grabber and Moore the republican pedo candidate are overjoyed at the outcome!

(1,803 posts)She won’t help us win electoral votes outside of the northeast and CA and shouldn’t be at the top of the ticket.
She’s done nothing wrong and merely distanced herself from the Clintons. She had to so that to remain credible. Franken made his own mistakes and doesn’t get a pass just because he’s a Dem.
