How Many People Think DU Needs a "Trump's White House" Forum?

I don't mind all the infighting and name calling and baiting that goes on at DU. It is part of the fun of politics. But when Gen Discussion is full of posts about how "This Dem is all bad!" and "No, this Dem is all good and THAT Dem is all bad!" and "You're a Poo Poo Head if You Don't Love This Dem and Hate that Dem" and "No, You're the Poo Poo Head!" there is a tendency to dilute all the meaningful threads about Trump and GOP atrocities which are what I come to DU for.

Dear Skinner, DU is a product like any other. A not for profit product with a mission statement, but still a product. Democrats are united in their fear and loathing for Trump, Putin and their GOP enablers. We want to discuss this problem and work on ways to fix it. We want to do this is a forum where it is easy to share ideas and information. It is not easy to share ideas or information if the first page of Gen Discussion and the "Greatests" are devoted to other less pressing though certainly brights and shiny and distracting topics.

In the past, DU has had separate White House threads. I think it is time to have one again. Can anyone think of a more pressing problem right now than the current Resident President? Trump can literally destroy this country. That kind of threat needs a forum all its own.

And meanwhile, Democrats who do not think Trump is a threat can play "Who is a more ideologically pure Democrat" to their hearts content in Gen Discussion.

If there is a White House forum already, will someone please direct me to it?

1. I think if anything they should make a separate bash the Dem forum and keep Gen. Discussion

as it was originally intended. Or better yet the bash the Dem folks can go create their own forum..oh wait they've already done that....jpr.

2. What you focus your awareness on grows. I do not mind the general back and forth but as a

relative newcomer, I have noticed a negative bent within as of late - e.g. Franken. Focus on what you want and not your fears. We want the dumpster out and to regain the House and Senate. Do not get distracted.
