Desperation sometimes causes one to falsley see more in a potential candidate then there really is. Such is the case with Gillibrand. The quest for a substantial Presidential Dem canidate continues.

Hillary's Senate seat, she wiped out the opposition in subsequent elections. Nobody thought she could do any of that.

Her votes and positions have been solid. She's fended off attacks from both the left and right. Don't ever sell her short.

That's enough right there.

There was zero reason for her to open her mouth about either Clinton or Franken.

Rank opportunism. Quite Trump-like in that regard.

on who she makes peace with. For example, as nice as Tim Kaine was, he did not have the drawing power of a Liz Warren, Kamala Harris or Cory Booker. If she cozies up to either of those two, (especially Booker) than enough people will be able to vote for her ticket even if they are not so thrilled about her.

Not that they can’t port that bile over pretty easy. When Obama came in they just dusted off the framework they’d built up to harass Bill Clinton, with an extra boost from racism.

I might be wrong but I'd be shocked if either Harris or Booker isn't our nominee.

I'm looking at this strategically and I think those two have the potential to appeal to a broader base of voters.

more so than President Obama, but I had no problem voting for her. This senator who had no real name recognition for me until this possible political and not ethical move to get name recognition, well let's say if she was our nominee I might be throwing up as I voted.

For other Dem voters it might make the difference between voting and not voting.

What is her track record in the Senate? Ms. Clinton has a lifelong record of real public service. I so wish she was president even with a turtle run Senate and Paul Ayn Rand as Speaker. I really think she'd wound them up, or to use another metaphor, hoisted them by their own petard.

Yes. If there was no email server, there is no October Comey announcement. Right or wrong, the Clintons have a reputation for being shady.

Republicans were able to take advantage of that better than we took advantage of Trump being worse than shady.
