He was kicking his horse at the same time he pulled back hard on the reins. The horse is bouncing all over the place unsure whether to run or stop.

The horseback riding community on twitter was all over his mistakes and cruelty yesterday.

I've never treated a horse that way. I think he's trying to be macho while having no actual skill. That reminds me of someone else we know.

28. He's no rider. He's cruel & mean to the poor horse.

He can't ride: he's unbalanced. He leans back, kicks the horse in a cruel manner and yanks on her mouth all at the same time. Her coat is dull and ungroomed. Her feet are probably in poor condition. The saddle and other tack seems to fit poorly. (imagine wearing shoes that are too small and really hurt). The bridle, bit and reins are all wrong.

As an equestrian and former horse owner, it was horrifying to watch him "ride." Poor Sassy.

I'm a poor rider, well I should say I'm not a rider. Last time I have ridden a horse was over 3 decades or so...

But many in my family are riders.

I felt bad for this poor horse, I wished he reared and Moore was thrown !
