I get the distinct feeling

… that they just don’t get it.

They (Trump & Co, his legal team, the GOP, et al) don’t seem to realize that every time they try to shut down, silence, stall, or in any way de-legitimize any aspect of Mueller’s investigation, it screams “guilty”.

Every time someone says “you shouldn’t be allowed to look at this”, or, “you have no right to look at this”, it’s the equivalent of saying “we have a LOT to hide”.

This debacle began with the WH and the Republicans saying that just because there’s all of this smoke, that doesn’t mean there’s a fire. Now they’re saying “you have no legal right to look at the conflagration”.

Throughout all of this, there has not been a single moment in time when Trump and the GOP haven’t made themselves look as guilty as sin. People who have nothing to hide don’t spend every minute of their lives trying to cover-up “nothing” – and that’s what they’ve all done since day one.

Memo to GOP: The next time someone offers to download a video entitled ”How Innocent People Act”, watch it. You just might learn something.

But I guess it’s too late for that now, isn’t it?

They've been pulling this shit since Cheney and Rove...probably before. We fell for it, so they have come to depend on that fact. Now, we're smarter from experience and they can no longer use that ploy. Never again will I believe a Republican.

I hope Mueller brings them to their knees and they start dealing against each other. That's the only way to bring them the rest of the way down.

many of them have taken Russian "donations". If tRump goes down, they all fall along with him. They are scrambling to sign this horrible tax scam, which democratic lawmakers have been excluded from helping craft. Seems as though they are unconcerned about re-election. I wonder why? Seeing what happened in Ala. should have been a wake up call, yet they smile and carry on screwing the populace. What is going on, I wonder?

It's OK to lie if you're a Republican. Hillary's emails are fair game. Their emails are off-limits.

Do you think they are relying on their spokespeople and MSM to give this a positive spin? If so, it is a fairly absurd assumption anything they do will be convincing.
