Roy Moore to announce future plans Wednesday
Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore will announce his “future plans” at a Wednesday press conference.
Moore should speak on the State Capitol steps in what could be a look at his political future, including potential runs for governor or U.S. Senate.
“He’s talking about and praying about this with his family, and he’s going to talk about what he’ll do in the future,” said Rich Hobson, a longtime aide to Moore, Friday afternoon.
If he chooses to run, the chief justice, enjoying a strong following of religious and faith-based voters, could prove a potent and divisive factor in state political races over the next 18 months.
