Joe Biden to campaign for Doug Jones in Birmingham

Roy Moore and Luther Strange are not the only ones welcoming high-profile political figures to the Yellowhammer state in support of their candidacies for Jeff Sessions' vacated Senate seat.
Former Vice President Joe Biden will campaign for Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Sheraton in downtown Birmingham, reports AL.com.
Ticket information will be made available closer to the event.
As we previously reported, Jones won the democratic primary on Aug. 15.
Jones will face either Moore or Strange in the general election on Dec. 12.
