Interested in Joining a Progressive Youtube/Facebook group?
Hello, fellow Moderate Liberals, Progressives, and Socialists. I am the head of a Progressive/Socialist politically-oriented group on youtube and on facebook called "A Path for Progress."
We have over 100 subscribers on youtube and nearly 300 likes on facebook with many political youtube channels part of the group including youtubers "AProgressiveThinker" who has over 800 subscribers, "rdubwiley" who has over 1,200 subscribers and "Libertarian Socialist Rants" who has nearly 15,000 subscribers.
The purpose of our group, the videos we make on youtube, and our facebook page is to try to band Moderate Liberals, Progressives, and Socialists together under a United Front of Leftists who support the implementation of Progressive policies on a local and national scale. We have people in our group from Moderate Democrats to Marxists, so you are sure to find a comrade from somewhere across the Left political spectrum.
We liberals, Progressives/Social Democrats, and Socialists all have our differences in our radicalism and in our politics but we are all on the Left and almost all of us are opposed to the corporate domination over American politics, America's imperialist actions throughout the world, our domestic policies that have weakened trade unions, we support workers' rights and higher minimum wages, and we oppose America's lenient tax policy on the rich, the Drug war and America's gun control policies.
Uniting the Left has always been an arduous task because political factions on the Left tend to have many differences and histories of antagonisms. But as our country's policies continue to be pushed further and further to the right wing, and corporations continue to lobby our government to implement laws in their favor, we all need to unite and act under a unanimous support for Progressive policies.
A Path for Progress is a grassroots Progressive online movement to unite the Left and to inform regular citizens, the young, the old, and the voters of which policies they should support and why they should support them.
We need recruits for our movement and we are glad to take any Leftist who wishes to participate in making videos for our youtube channel, joining our Google Hangout discussions or posting to our facebook page. Also, since our youtube channel is close to being partnered on youtube, we will soon have a policy in which you will earn money that we gain off of our partnership/advertisement share. Please join us, any Leftist is welcome!
