Oil soars on signs US oil companies curtail production

Source: AP-Excite

NEW YORK (AP) — The price of oil is up 7 percent on indications that production in the U.S. has slowed following the big drop in prices since last June.

U.S. oil surged $3.18 to $47.71 a barrel.

Baker Hughes reported that the number of rigs drilling for oil in the U.S fell by 94 in the past week to 1,223. That's down 199 from this time last year.

On the one hand, I feel bad for all the energy workers who've lost their job.

On the other hand, it would be nice if Texas and Alaska realize that they cannot rely only on oil to provide a safety net. That is, if it does provide a safety net..

that increase. Maybe he'll take fewer risky moves if he's not as anxious by his economy in a tailspin?

I think the time to throw the BALL in the other court is here.

Then, we must HIT the Iron Rod (Consumerism), while it is still HOT; We can do this simply by NOT buying the ITEMS that makes Big OIL, so BIG.

The choices are very few, that's true!

But not doing anything about it now, will only prolong the Inevitability for a very short while longer.

Then it's your kids' children who will forever wonder "why" you just didn't stick it up to those Fat CATS.

The true fact is there are only two choices: ACT now or PAY later.

We can act quickly simply by Abolishing the Prohibition on HEMP.

Why is that?

Big OIL destroyed the HEMP Industry.

Most products you are talking about were readily produced by the HEMP Industries.

For more infos on this topic, GOOGLE "Prohibition on HEMP".

In doing so, it will give you a better idea about what's taking place in the U.S. and abroad, today!

It's not going back up to over $100 anytime soon.

Even the Saudi's realize that they made a mistake by letting it get that high and created a whole new industry of fracking and cost competitive green energy.

Once from the higher prices and again for not having to pay for production.
