White House continues to keep distance from Hillary Clinton email controversy

Source: Politico

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Friday that Hillary Clinton made the right decision when she asked the State Department to release her private emails, but he continued to put as much distance as possible between President Barack Obama and the controversy that’s already damaging Clinton before her presidential campaign even gets started.

In a briefing for reporters aboard Air Force One as Obama flew to Columbia, S.C., Earnest said Clinton’s tweeted request for the State Department to release the emails she wrote from her private email account goes “above and beyond” the requirements of the Federal Records Act.

But Earnest still insisted that it’s up to Cabinet secretaries and other agency officials to make sure they’re in compliance – the line the Obama administration has taken since the controversy erupted over Clinton’s use of a private email address to conduct her business when she served as Secretary of State.

And Earnest said he wasn’t sure when Obama personally learned that Clinton had used a private email account rather than a State Department address. POLITICO reported Friday that the White House and Clinton’s aides were aware of the issue in August, but that Clinton’s staff passed up an opportunity to disclose the details when it might have gotten less attention.

There is no email controversy. The only controversy is how such a bull shit made up
story can get so much media attention. HRC broke no laws or rules, her use of a private
email account was and has been a known fact for years, and she has released all her emails
so everybody can look at them.

White Water, Benghazi, Swift Boats for Truth, The IRS scandal, WMDs are known to be in Iraq,
Bush won Florida and Ohio in 2000 and 2004 on the up and up, We need voter ID laws because people
vote twice all the time, and on and on.

This is made up bullshit to smear Hillary w/end of story.

It's the real issues that count.

This certainly distracts from all the Reep hate laws passed and
court decisions in their wars on women, minorities, immigrants,
and gays.

It is like watching a "Walker Texas Ranger" clip and being amazed when
Chuck Norris kicks the bad guy on the side of his head.

The GOP has an organization that works for them called Creative Response Concepts
that plants crap ass stories like this all the time and they have "their people" such as
Joe S., ready to push the ready made bull shit onto the public.

It will have absolutely no effect on her electability. Repukes won't vote for her, independents and Dems won't give a flying hootie-hoo.
