The US embassy in Riyadh have said they will be closed for consular services on Sunday and Monday due to heightened security concerns, according to reports.

A statement on its website said the embassy's consular services in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran would be canceled and urged all US citizens to take extra precautions when traveling in Saudi Arabia.

The closure was also confirmed via tweet:

As far as I know there haven't been any major new problems that have popped up.

Maybe some of Yemeni fighters are coming into Saudi?
