Judge won't lift ruling instructing Alabama probate judge to comply with marriage order

Source: al.com

An order instructing Mobile County's probate judge to issue marriage license to gays will remain in effect, a federal judge ruled Monday.

Attorneys for Mobile County Probate Judge Don Davis had asked U.S. District Judge Callie V.S. "Ginny" Granade to put that order on hold in light of a subsequent contradictory ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court. That court later specifically ruled that Davis, too, is bound by its ruling that same-sex couples should not get marriage licenses until after the U.S. Supreme Court settles the issue.

"Although the court would agree that the developments in these same-sex marriage cases has at times seemed dizzying, the court finds that Judge Davis has not shown that a stay is warranted," Granade wrote.

That leaves Davis caught between conflicting orders of two different courts. His attorneys could not immediately be reached for comment. The Mobile County marriage license office has been closed to all couples - gay and straight - since March 4.

Alabama lost the in joining the confederation of the states in the civil war, they then signed on to the 14th Amendment, what's the problem, the chief judge in the state, is against equal protection, so he should be IMPEACHED---no brainer, you would think, or a suit should be filed against the chief judge, or am I missing something, a human being is a human being no matter who they care for

Judge Roy Moore placed the ten commandments. He lost his judgement (and the panel's were removed) He founded and ran a foundation. In time Roy returned as Chief Justice and handed the reigns to his wife. It is a family money making racket promoting the tenets of christian faith intertwined into the founding and fabric of this country. Foundation for Moral Law prospers every time Roy Moore makes state, national, or international news. Interesting his son was just arrested and has multiple prior convictions.

"The son of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore was arrested Sunday for drug possession near the scene of an attempted break-in, court records show.Caleb Moore, 24... Moore addressed the charges in a Facebook post on Monday afternoon: "This is nothing more than a prime example of how media and crooked police officers and critics of my dad try to not only destroy his career for what he stands for but will go as far as trying to destroy his family," he wrote. "I am not a drug user as the drug test taken today will show. As for the malicious possession charges, justice will be served."

Will he get off or serve time? Watch for developments.

If you or I were to get busted in Alabama, with drugs, (anywhere in this country) near" an attempted break-in, really, then this is the scenario:
#1 we would be still in jail, looking at bubba, because my parents are not the chief in charge of whatever law they have down there

#2 we would have to have an attorney and still looking at bubba in the cell, because my parents are not the chief in charge of law enforcement

#3 we would then be placed on a chain gang since the prisons are for profit down there, correct,
and then still looking at bubba, because my parents are not the chief in charge of Alabamian law enforcement

Thanks for the update
