Former HP CEO Fiorina: chances of presidential bid 'higher than 90 percent'

Source: Reuters

(Reuters) - Former Hewlett-Packard Co Chief Executive Carly Fiorina on Sunday said the chances of her running for U.S. presidency were "very high" and she would announce her plans in late April-early May.

Fiorina, speaking on Fox News Sunday, put the chances of her running for president in 2016 at 'higher than 90 percent' but said she could not yet announce the bid as she was working to establish her team, get "the right support" and financial resources.

I'm always fascinated by political cartoons and how they just repeatedly nail the faces of the people they draw. Faces, facial expressions, quirky features like scott walker's weird smile, huckabee's pouchy jowls, paul ryan's smirk, ted cruz's Gumby-like cheeks, jaw, and nose, rand paul's brillo pad hair, bobby jindal's - uh, well, bobby jindahl's EVERYTHING... GENIUS renderings!!!! Totally "genius-y"! DANG!!!!!! And there's ol' chuck todd in front. Rendered to perfection. DANG!

Whoever created this one is a TRUE artist.

I have also been fascinated by these artists and their ability to not only draw the face, but capture their projected personalities. Mad Magazine was always great like that with their illustrations. Particularly this one (which is just hilarious when you look at all the people depicted) -

She took quite a drubbing when she ran here in California. I guess she thinks she can do better nationally. She would enter the race knowing she wouldn't get CA's electoral votes. Of course, that's true for all repubs. They can't even win statewide here in CA.

running mate. Figured - okay, WE got a woman, TOO!!!! SEE? SEEE???? And that'd be that.

They figure just as long as somebody comes out in a skirt and they're not a Scotsman, that'll be enough. The same limited-thinking attitude george herbert walker bush expressed when he picked the hapless, pathetic dan quayle as his running mate. Noted quayle's physical attractiveness and quipped - "that'll be one for the ladies." Like that's all we care about. Haul out some cute guy and we're HAD, 'eh? That made me angry. "So THAT'S what you think of women voters? THAT'S all you think we care about?"

They'll get their cardboard cutout females and stand 'em up there onstage for all the cameras and networks to see, and they probably figure that'll be that. Just further proof of how tragically they fail to connect with women, and what we really DO care about. And why their numbers with women continue to be less than desirable.

The HP products I got prior to Fiorina's reign as CEO worked and lasted until obsolete with new technology. The products during and after her destruction of the company, were defective and HP would not stand behind their jumk.

I think the board gave her around $20 million just to leave, so they could try to recover from her damage.

Lucent, she almost killed HP, she did kill Lucent Tech and walked away with 65 million dollars.
This was AT&T's tech division spun off. Her income padding schemes was pretty much fraud.
Stock went from one of the strongest in all of the world to worth pennies. My Father in Law worked for them for 42 years. When he was medically retired on his death bed from Brain Cancer, he had lost 95% of his pension value.

"While the H-P episode is better known, Fiorina was involved in a much more damaging business disaster, one that America will continue to pay for for generations; the destruction of the Bell Laboratories. Beginning in 1995, Fiorina took over as the head of corporate operations of the AT&T spinoff, “Lucent Technologies” which included the Bell Labs"
