Carly Fiorina Makes The Cut For CNN's GOP Debate
Source: The Huffington Post
Carly Fiorina will join 10 of her fellow GOP presidential candidates during next week's CNN debate, the cable network announced Thursday.
Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Rand Paul, John Kasich and Chris Christie will also participate in the Sept. 16 debate in Simi Valley, California.
CNN revised the criteria it used to select which candidates would qualify for the debate after complaints from Fiorina's camp following her strong performance at Fox's early debate on Aug. 6. ...
The network will also hold an earlier forum for the candidates trailing in the polls: Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki and Lindsey Graham. Former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore did not meet CNN's polling threshold to participate in either debate.

(3,426 posts)Excuse me attorney form Texas but the article seems to be over looking something. It says here CNN wants tremendous ratings and without me that will not happen ! I made it clear 11 is one too many and Chris Christie by the way takes up as much space as three people. So clearly the problem is simple subtraction. CNN will come around to my way about it !
Thats what it says here !
As to Carly's face, that will be one to watch at show time ! Stay tuned great entertainment coming soon !

But I'm serious about the 10 pt. jump.

(3,373 posts)the Democratic 2004 primary.
I'd roll my eyes, and they would respond "Lieberman's a Democrat that even some Republicans like so he'll have crossover appeal and so he'd win the general election." I'd think Lieberman may have appeal among Republicans but as far as I can tell it doesn't "crossover" to any Democrats I know.
Kasich looks to you the way Lieberman looked to my Republican friend.
It may make sense on paper for the Republicans to nominate Kasich, and I think he's likely to be the VP candidate, but if you think the Republican party is going to nominate a candidate who embraced Obamacare, you haven't discussed the issue with very many Republicans. Similarly, you may have heard during the first debate Kasich discuss attending a gay wedding, and you may have said "that sounds presidential," but I promise you that lots of people who actually vote in the Iowa Republican caucuses heard the same thing and said "degenerate commie scumbag."
Remember, the people who will pick the Republican nominee (1) think Obama is a Muslim, (2) global climate change is a myth, and (3) Saddam Hussein attacked the US on 9/11. They're morons. Don't expect them to pick the nominee that makes logical sense.
