Ben Carson Cannot Say How He Would Tackle Hurricane Joaquin

Source: ABC

Ben Carson could not say how he would deal with Hurricane Joaquin, the storm that's intensifying in the Atlantic and headed toward the Bahamas and the East Coast.

“Uh, I don’t know,” Carson said with a giggle in response to an ABC News question asking what steps he would take if he was president today.

In contrast, Jeb Bush gave a rather detailed response, including an evacuation plan for certain areas in Joaquin’s path.

There aren't enough for this.

P.S. Of course Jeb! does better with this. He was the freaking governor of Florida.

Get disaster teams, fresh water, RTE foods and portable power in place before it hits. Coordinate with the Red Cross and other relief agencies. Monitor the forecast and developing situation in real time. Encourage timely evacuation where appropriate.

It ain't brain surgery.

But then, if it were Trump, he would have said "I don't care. I have people working on this". As for Carson, he just keeps on living in a make believe world. Both will be gone by the end of the year.

listening to W. I've gotten to the point where I just change the channel to get away from it - same tactic I used when W was in office. Not sure what's up with Carson, but his public speaking skills are non-existent, as is his ability to think on his feet.

Book smart does not automatically translate into common sense smart.

for her(the hurricane) making sure to come off as an uncouth bigot, then tell us how he's come up against huricannes in the past and could handle it and that it wouldn't be a hurricane if he was in charge and he'd give absolutely no depth or detail about how he'd handle it. He'd finish with how he would punnish everyone in her path for living there and isn't giving them a dime for aid even if they on roof tops and need to be saved and are holding little children. he'll leave them there excusing it with they're likely the poor and immigrants and we'd be better off without them.Of course the tea party will cheer over this sociopathic response and then get ticked off if the people were helped - even if they personally were in the path and were those people.

It may not be politically correct, but the term idiot savant keeps coming to mind. He knows a lot about one very narrow topic, and nothing at all about everything else.

Hillary would give an intelligent answer too and so would Bernie.

Two of the three are massively corrupt and controlled by the ogliarchs that are the problem with the planet though. And, sadly it may be all 3. I voted for Obama twice but the 2nd time was the least of 2 evils. Bernie Sanders does have a record though so i'm giving him a chance.
