Texas excludes Planned Parenthood from Medicaid program following undercover videos

Source: Dallas Morning News

AUSTIN–The Texas Office of the Inspector General announced Monday that it has taken steps to exclude Planned Parenthood affiliates from the state’s Medicaid program, citing violations observed in recently released undercover videos.

An anti-abortion group began releasing videos in July that show undercover activists impersonating representatives of a tissue procurement company in order to meet with Planned Parenthood officials. The group alleges that Planned Parenthood is profiting from tissue donation reimbursements.

A video from inside a Houston abortion clinic was released in August.

The “violations” cited by the Inspector General include a suggestion in the video that doctors could use a different method to perform an abortion in order to preserve intact fetal tissue, and that Planned Parenthood created an unsanitary work environment for allowing access to the undercover group.

This will go to the Supreme Court.

For those who thought it didn't matter whether they voted on their state or local election issues, the consequences of that will now be felt by those who need it the most

It could take along a few other backwards (backwoods) states with it.

This has been discussed before. Anything to keep the Ted Cruz/Bush-whacker family down where they can do the least harm to this country.

I've heard several cries from good, intelligent people that they should not be walled in with the know-nothings. I feel for many good people that got caught in the hell-hole that is the southern US (and perhaps Wyoming). Maybe we could give them dispensations if they could show at least 3 liberal rants in the last 3 years...

Let THEM build that fence (wall, whatever) and then they can point to it as a national security achievement. One that keeps their country secure from losing it's citizens.

I so hope the people in my state wake up and vote these pricks out of office. Until that happens nothing will change. If you do not complain at the ballot box then you are not complaining.

This state is such a weak shadow of its former self. This evil shroud we live under must be lifted.
