Trump's Medical Report Is More Insane Than His Campaign Somehow
Source: Daily Beast
Donald Trump’s doctor released a medical report so silly that when we asked the American Medical Association about its language, their spokesman started to laugh. Donald Trump’s doctor appears to be just as bombastic as he is. It’s the only conclusion to be drawn from a hilariously bizarre letter that the mogul’s doctor—Harold Bornstein—wrote about his yuuuugely terrific health. And the letter raises as many questions as it answers. For example, he describes Trump’s recent physical exam as “show[ing] only positive results.” While it’s clear he means to say everything was normal, the word “positive” is an odd use of the term in medicine. Rather, it typically means that some result or finding was present—and those findings aren’t always great news (think testing positive for a disease). The wording is clearly chosen more for rhetorical effect than clear medical communication—and that choice left some experts scratching their heads. Last edited Tue Dec 15, 2015, 12:50 AM - Edit history (1) for the doctor to sign. There's something very un-doctor-ish about it.

Hillary is at 50 percent. Hard to believe he is that close with 14 others in the race. Very interesting times. I can't wait for tomorrow's debate where trump craps on Cruz. Lol. Saturday I have the DVR set.

42. Interesting isn't it why anyone would watch a
hate mongerer when the last thing we need in our political discourse is more hate mongering. This may be why the MSM keeps covering NAZI Alzheimer TRUMP #NAT because so many people see politics as entertainment. They don't get that politics is about policies that affect our lives.

7. Yes. I thought either the doctor is
being humorous (and unprofessional) or someone else wrote it - which doesn't leave him off the hook because presumably he'd have to review, approve and sign it. Maybe there will be Part II of this story tomorrow, when we'll read "Trump's Doctor Disavows Fraudulent Medical Report."

my reaction was that it sounded like it was dictated by Trump. It sounds a lot like he talks. Then he just had a doctor sign it.

Democracy by popularity This side show though is good enough for me I see that Tweedledee has touched a nerve Cast laughter not your vote upon this knave With every word another blatant lie Nobody brainy believes in this guy After all those awful interviews he gave We must stay silent whilst he has the floor No-one may dare to question what he said As if you do, he'll show you to the door And if you ignored that edict - you'd be dead I'm sure that we've all seen this shit before That's why we'll vote for someone else instead - nearbeer |

What an odd letter for a doctor to write and indeed. Testing positive is usually not a good thing.

10. If he's following guidelines...
He should have had at least two, one at 50 and again at 60. It just seems very strange to me that he would choose a subspecialist as his primary. As a specialist myself, it's hard enough to stay up to date in my own field much less the current trends in primary care. Yet, this doctor has "the healthiest presidential candidate ever" on a cholesterol medicine and a baby aspirin! Is there a family history of heart disease? Has "The Don" had a heart attack in the past? Is the GI doc following him for an undisclosed gastrointestinal issue? Inquiring minds want to know

18. I loved this part:
Bornstein, a Manhattan gastroenterologist who shared a medical practice with his father, writes he has been Trump’s doctor since 1980. His father, Jacob Bornstein, died in 2010 at the age of 93. But that didn’t stop Trump from Twitter-thanking Bornstein the elder for writing up his letter.
“I am proud to share this health report, written by the highly respected Dr. Jacob Bornstein of Lenox Hill Hospital,” the mogul tweeted, linking to the letter. |

I mean, Trump is 70, and appears reasonably physically fit for a 70 year old. Why not just ... say that? I don't understand this extreme need to be Kim Il-Sung level bombastic and state that he's the fittest person to ever be elected.
Guess I just can't get into this weird Trump mindset. |
